Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Our plane was late so we got in to town hungry and thirsty around 11:30pm, right before the closing. The owner had no problem making us 7 fresh pizzas from scratch. A little language barrier but that’s expected in a foreign country. Great service and great food. We stopped by to dine in on our last night here and were seated with no reservations. Fifteen minutes later the whole place was filled with people! We left full and happy with gifted bottle of wine and kinder eggs for the kids. Definitely recommend! Grazie mille!"
"The best spaghetti vongole we have ever had, really. Also the pizza and the meat were super good. The service was attentive, communicative, and kind. We recommend to make a reservation as the place was packed. The atmosphere was homely and everybody seemed to have a good time. We will definitely come back. Thank you!"
"Amazing food and really nice people! Everyone should visit this trattoria for sure! Also really nice owner that wanted to give us a free drink because the food took a bit longer!"
"After a morning walking the Devil’s Bridge and exploring the beautiful town of Bargo Mozzano, we dined here at Trattoria Pizzeria Paolo e Grazie. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner was exceptionally friendly, treating us more like family than customers, which made our Sunday lunch feel extra special. The food was honest, authentic, and delicious. If you’re ever in Bargo Mazzano, don’t miss this lovely traditional restaurant. Highly recommend!"
"This is a true authentic location filled with local families and groups, enjoying the superior food and service. Exceptional care taking of the head of the restaurant, being super friendly to us strangers and making us feel like home. An extraordinary gift was a true surprise during check-out (the Italian way, going to the cash register finally)… a free bottle of the ‘vino della casa’ which was very delicious to us, so we had some glasses. We don’t know if the head of the restaurant will see this feedback, but maybe his young and good looking service staff member with the perfect hair and nails will tell him… We did not take any pictures… there’s enough of those."
"A busy restaurant in the centre of Borgo A Mozzano. Visited with a group of 5. Service kind and prompt. Menu a bit different from everywhere else. Food delicious and well priced. Enjoyed Frizzante (€7 per bottle). Complimentary Limoncello / Grappa from the owner. Then offered us a watermelon liqueur and finally a gift of a bottle of Prosecco upon leaving. A lovely meal and be assured we will return. The staff really know the art of the catering trade as we all left with smiles on our faces."
"The friendly staff and the charming owner. Delicious food including, of course, pizza. Charming atmosphere of an Italian pizzeria in a small town. A must-visit place when visiting the town. Best regards Anna and Karol"
"We had an amazing evening and meal, everything was delicious and fresh The staff was kind and professional"
